个人简历

19997月毕业于湖南农业大学生物技术系,获得学士学位;

2002719997月毕业于南京农业大学生物化学与分子生物学系,获得硕士学位;

20087月毕业于中国科学院遗传与发育生物学研究所,遗传学专业,获得博士学位。

20084月至 20102月,在美国内布拉斯加州大学奥马哈医学中心(University of Nebraska, Omaha Medical Center),生物化学与分子生物学系,从事博士后研究;

20103月至 20153月,在美国加州大学河滨分校(University of California, Riverside),植物病理学与微生物学系,从事助理研究员。

20153月至今,在扬州大学,园艺与植物保护学院,校特聘教授。

研究方向

1、  Small RNA在植物-病原菌互作中的功能与机理(Small RNA in plan-pathogen interactions)。

本课题组主要以模式双子叶植物番茄为研究对象,探索small RNA介导的植物抗病机理研究。真核生物small RNAsRNA)是一类长度大约为20-30碱基的具有调节基因表达功能的非编码RNA,在转录水平或转录后水平沉默其靶基因。根据合成途径的差异,small RNA包括microRNAs (miRNAs) small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) piwi-interacting RNA (piRNA)三类,其中miRNA的分子大小为21-24碱基,参与了包括生长发育,新陈代谢以及胁迫反应等重要的生理过程。虽然植物宿主内源small RNA在植物-病原菌互作过程中的重要作用已被深入研究,但病原菌非编码small RNA在此过程中的功能未能被深入研究。尖孢镰刀菌(Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. Lycopersici)是一类既可侵染植物又可在土壤内生存的兼性寄生真菌,可引起茄科、瓜类、香蕉、棉、豆科及花卉等100多种植物枯萎病的发生。本课题组采用两个番茄品种:抗病品种Motelle和感病品种Moneymaker为研究材料,研究探讨small RNA在番茄-尖孢镰刀菌相互作用中的功能及作用途径。

Small RNA in plan-pothogen interactions

My laboratory is interested in the molecular mechanisms of small RNA-mediated gene regulation in plant disease resistance and defense responses. Small RNAs, including microRNAs (miRNAs) and small interfering RNAs (siRNAs), play an important role as regulators of growth and development as important regulators of eukaryotic gene expression by guiding mRNA cleavage, translational inhibition or chromatin modification in plants. Small RNA-induced gene silencing is a conserved regulatory process that has evolved as an antiviral defense mechanism in plants and animals. However, it is not known whether host cells also use small RNAs as an antibacterial or antifungal defense mechanism in eukaryotes.

2、  水稻生物胁迫的表观遗传研究(Epigenetics and abiotic stress responses in rice plants)。

环境胁迫特别是非生物胁迫能激发植物染色体表观遗传学变化。表观遗传学(Epigenetics)主要是研究生物基因功能的变化,这种变化在有丝分裂和/或减数分裂中可以遗传。与普通遗传学不同的是,其所研究的基因不存在DNA序列上的改变。表观遗传学调控基因功能主要包括以下三个方面:基因本身的DNA甲基化;基因所在的核小体上的组蛋白的共价修饰、染色质核小体的重塑和核小体变种,和small RNA介导的转录和转录后水平的基因沉默。本课题组以重要的单子叶模式植物及重要的粮食作物水稻为材料,研究small RNA通过调控相关基因表达以对抗环境非生物胁迫如高盐、干旱、高温、重金属等方向。

Epigenetics and abiotic stress responses in rice plants.

Environmental stress especially abiotic stress may trigger epigenetic changes that contribute to stress resistance. A few cases of transgenerational memory of stress tolerance and transgenerational inheritance of putative epigenetic changes have been reported. However, the extent of transgenerational memory of stress responses is unclear, We are going to focus on investigating the role of epigenetic regulation in stress resistance and mechanisms of transgenerational epigenetic inheritance in rice plant.
